Let’s play a game of Monopoly. We each start with $1,500 and I get to be the Hat. As we play, we both acquire land to collect rent. Then we start building houses and collecting more rent until one of us is broke. Money and land are two different things but when I win at Monopoly we just laugh, gloat and put the game away. Imagine you never put the game away? Imagine you can spend the money you’ve earned!
Companies are creating virtual land along with virtual money to allow players to acquire tangible virtual objects powered by the Ethereum blockchain.
